About these terms

These terms apply to Archivo Visual ("Archivo", "we"), run by Daniella Arcila LLC, a Florida limited liability company, and to your use of archivovisual.co. By using the site, creating an account, or becoming a member, you agree to them.

Accounts

Use an email address you control and keep your sign-in to yourself. An account is for one person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Membership

Anyone can open the newest five entries in each category. Members can open the whole archive.

Membership costs the price shown at checkout, currently $3 a month or $30 a year, and is paid through Stripe. It renews at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your Account page; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Payments are not refunded for partly used periods, except where the law requires it.

Founding members: the first 100 members keep the price they joined at, $3 a month or $30 a year, for as long as their membership continues without a break. If a founding membership is cancelled and started again later, the price at that time applies.

If the price changes, we will tell members by email before the new price applies to them.

The archive's content

The writing on Archivo belongs to Archivo. Please don't copy or republish it without asking.

Photographs belong to the people who took them, and are shown here with credit. Archivo can't give permission to reuse them; if you'd like to use one, ask its owner.

You're welcome to read, save, and share links to entries. Please don't collect the archive in bulk with automated tools.

Photographs and removal requests

If you own a photo on Archivo and would like it credited differently or removed, write to archivovisual@casaestudio.co with a link to the entry. We aim to remove it within one business day.

Entries and the trip planner

Entries are chosen editorially and describe places, people, and work as we found them. Hours, prices, and details change, so check with the place before you go. Being in the archive doesn't mean a place has a relationship with us; if an entry is ever sponsored, it will say so.

The trip planner suggests itineraries automatically from the archive's entries. It can make mistakes, so treat its suggestions as a starting point and check the details yourself.

Using the site

Don't use the site to break the law, to get around the membership, to interfere with how the site works, or to harm others.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for decisions made on the basis of an entry or a trip planner suggestion, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you have paid us in the past 12 months.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and tell members by email if the change affects their membership.
